how to measure how to measure
    Measuring Tips
    Use a steel measuring tape for accurate measurements.
  1. Check for Squareness:
    Measure window opening diagonally between corners. If the difference between both measurements exceeds 1/2", the factory recommends an Outside Mount Shutter.
  2. Inside Mount: Measure window opening width and height in 3 places to the nearest 1/16". Provide the smallest width measurement and the largest height measurement.
    For Outside Mount: Provide frame to frame measurement, use largest width and height.
  3. Check for Clearance:
    When louvers are fully opened they project from the back of the panel. Louvers must operate freely without hitting the window glass, moulding, crank handle...etc.
  4. Note: Shutters are custom for your specific windows. Once production is underway, we cannot make any changes to the order.
